The Venezuelan defense minister has told the opposition that he has to “pass over our dead bodies” to overthrow Nicolas Maduro from power and impose a new government.
In this way, Vladimir Padrino replied to Donald Trump, who warned on Monday that the military supporting Maduro is a threat to their lives.
“Those who are trying to become presidents here in Venezuela … will have to pass over our dead bodies,” said Patrinos, pointing to his executives standing behind him. He was referring to Juan Guiado’s, the leader of the opposition, who now recognize about 50 countries as the interim president of the country.
The military and soldiers “obey Maduro“, Padrino also argued, while stressing that the armed forces would remain on the Venezuelan border in order to prevent possible territorial violations.
