Railway accident in Cairo kills at least 20

A fire at the railway station in Cairo has resulted in many persons killed and wounded.

This has been reported by the Egyptian police and local media, which mentions 20 dead and 40 injured.

Eyewitnesses are talking about burning bodies next to the rails while panic prevailed throughout the area. Ambulances and police forces rushed to the area.

The accident, according to Reuters, was caused when a train fell on a metal bar, causing an explosion.
