Israeli fighter jets struck a Hamas military post in the Gaza Strip, sources close to the Islamist group ruling the Palestinian enclave.
At least five missiles were fired to destroy Hamas’s military arm near Han Jounes in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the sources said.
No injuries were reported, according to a health ministry spokesman in Gaza. The air raid occurred a little while after improvised incendiary balloon-based devices were launched from the Gaza Strip to southern Israel, the Israeli army said in a statement. The same source noted that one of the devices exploded over homes in Ascol and destroyed house windows, but no injuries were reported.
