Pakistan hands over Indian pilot

As reported by international media, Pakistan officially handed over the Indian Air Force pilot after he was shot down by Pakistani F-16 fighters and was captured in Kashmir.

The hand-over of the pilot made good the promise of Pakistani Prime Minister Imrah Khan for his release as a move of goodwill that will lead to a de-escalation of the tension on the India-Pakistan border in the Kashmir region.

In yet another development, the Indian Air Force has demobilized the head of the western command of the country’s air force, in response to the destruction of the Mig-21 Bison. In all probability, this should mean that he is being held accountable for mishandling the case …

In place of Air Marshal C Harikumar, Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar was appointed.
