Syrian air and artillery strikes in Hamah, Idlib, and Aleppo

On Monday, the Syrian Arab Air Force and Syrian Arab Army artillery took out a number of terrorist targets in Northern Hamah, Southern Idlib and the Western countryside of Aleppo.

These targets included warehouses, fortifications, gatherings, and convoys.

In Morek, a terrorist convoy took shelter near a Turkish point, approximately 500 meters from the Turkish personnel; an SAA artillery unit from the Syrian 8th Armored Division shelled the convoy dealing them heavy casualties.

Furthermore, an SAA unit thwarted an attempt by a terrorist group to infiltrate SAA protected territory in Tal-Skik in Idlib, dealing them heavy casualties, and forcing them to abandon the bodies of their fallen comrades.

This joint air and artillery campaign was launched in retaliation to terrorists launching attacks on two SAA points from what was supposed to be a demilitarized zone.

The General Command of the Syrian Arab Armed Forces issued a number of statements stressing that although Syria is upholding the international agreements for the sake of preventing civilian loses, the Syrian Arab Armed Forces will use all appropriate force to retaliate any breach from the terrorist side.
