UK invites industry’s participation in developing new fighter

An invitation to the British defense industry to participate in the development of the new Tempest fighter was made by Minister for Defence Procurement Stuart Andrew.

The event was held in Farnborough in the presence of 300 defense industry representatives, including small and medium-sized companies, which the Minister invited to participate in the long-term and costly development of the new fighter.

During the briefing, the participants were informed about the skills and infrastructure that will be needed for the development program, which is estimated to reach 2 billion pounds and will employ a total of 18,000 workers throughout the country in the coming years.
