Continued testing of Kh-47M2 ‘Kinzhal’ missile

Nearly 20 Kh-47M2 ‘Kinzhal’ missiles were transferred to a military field for testing according to US intelligence sources.

According to information, the Kh-47M2 ‘Kinzhal’ rocket can achieve a Mach 10 speed, it can climb during the final phase of its flight, avoiding missile and anti-ballistic missiles. The Kh-47M2 ‘Kinzhal’ missile has a range of 2,000 km and is based on the ballistic missile Iskander.

As the Americans say, the Russians seem to have set the development of the new weapon system as a first priority and to date have tested it on a MiG-31K fighter a total of 12 times. With the transportation of the 20 new Kh-47M2 ‘Kinzhal’ onto the test field, the Russians are expected to complete the new weapon system’s test program.
