Montenegro protesters offer deal to opposition parties

Organizers of the recent ongoing anti-government protests in Montenegro offered an agreement to the country’s opposition parties on forming a national unity government that would pave the way to fresh elections.

They said they expected a response from the opposition parties before Saturday’s planned protests in the capital, Podgorica – after which they will offer the same agreement to minority parties that are part of the current coalition government.

Some opposition parties have already pledged to support the agreement, but others have asked for time to consult further with the protest organizers.
