Saudi Arabia, Britain launch military drills in Northwestern Region

Joint military drills between Saudi Arabia and Britain kicked off on Monday in the northwestern region in the Kingdom, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The exercises were launched by commander of the northwestern region Thafer bin Ali al-Shahri and Britain’s Lieutenant Colonel Graham Sefton.

Shahri said that the maneuvers aimed to bolster expertise in military planning and strengthening ties between the Saudi and British forces.
