Turk occupiers harass Greek Cypriot fishing boat

A fishing vessel operated by Greek Cypriot fishermen was harassed by the occupying army of the occupied part of northern Cyprus. According to sigmalive, the vessel was fishing with a long line about 15 nautical miles off the coast.

From the winds the long lines were drifting within 12 nautical miles, resulting in a craft of the illegal Turkish Cypriot army attempting to tow the fishing boat at the port of Famagusta.

The timely coordination of the Department of Fisheries, the National Guard and the Cyprus Port Authority, however, led to the successful completion of the Greek Cypriot adventure just after 15.30.
