The establishment of a new diplomatic service, which will co-ordinate the work of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense, was decided by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos.
As Deputy Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias announced, this service will be the Directorate of Defense Diplomacy. The service will be housed in the foreign ministry, but will also be staffed by the national defense ministry.
Ministers Nikos Dendias and Nikos Panagiotopoulos made the decision for the Directorate of Defense Diplomacy in a meeting on Monday morning.
