A spectacular air dance performed by the Russian 5th generation fighter Su-57 at its “premiere” before the public at the MAKS-2019 air show in Moscow.
The Russian fighter, which Moscow claims exhibits fabulous performance, has still not been placed into production and little is known about its capabilities.
At the same time, the “invisible” Russian fighter will be presented to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the air show in Moscow. The US has suspended the participation of Turkey, a NATO member, in its own “invisible” fighter program, the F-35, in reaction to Turkey’s purchase of the Russian S-400 missile system.
The US has repeatedly stated that Turkey cannot have the S-400s and F-35s at the same time. Turkey began receiving a second S-400 battery today (27 August). “We will show the Su-57 and Su-35,” Borisov said in comments quoted by the Russian news agency Interfax, referring to the fighter jets being designed by state-owned Sukhoi.
