The RAF’s aerobatic team Red Arrows made a breathtaking flypast over Niagara Falls as part of a 50-minute trip from Washington DC to Canada to promote the Canadian International Airshow.

Stunning footage shows the Royal Air Force aerobatic team shooting along cloud-lined skies above the giant crashing waterfall.

Footage taken from the cockpit of one of the jets shows the iconic aircraft speeding over southern Ontario, Canada, and above the world-famous Niagara site.

Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls located between Ontario and New York. The largest is Horseshoe Falls, which straddles the US-Canada border.

The team are taking part in a six-city tour of the Commonwealth country before they appearing at an exhibition in Toronto alongside Canada’s own aerobatic squadron, the Snowbirds.
