Turkey plans to open Cyprus ghost town Famagusta and will deploy S-400

The Turkish government is playing brinksmanship with official statements that have exceeded all levels of provocation. Mevlut Cavusoglu made statements a few hours ago confirming that Turkey is making preparations to open the enclosed, since the 1974 Turkish invasion, city of Famagusta on Cyprus.

But the Turkish Foreign Minister also responded to a question about the Russian anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense system S-400 Triumf. He said that Turkey did not buy them to leave them in the boxes and clearly intends to use them. It set the deadline for operational deployment of the system in the spring of 2020.
