A freefall jump could have been fatal for two paratroopers who escaped a collision with two US fighter jets near a Royal Air Force Base in Leichenhead, Britain, according to the BBC.
The paratroopers reportedly were able to record the aircraft traveling at 560 kilometers per hour, with cameras on their helmets.
The US Air Force subsequently, according to the UK Airprox Board, informed the crew of the incident.
This incident is reminiscent of a similar incident that took place in April, when paratroopers almost collided with an F-15 over the British city of Chatteris. As concerns, the specific incident parachutist clubs tried to inform the airbase of the paratroopers.
