Palestinian forces shot down another Israeli drone in the Gaza Strip, the third unmanned aerial vehicle Israel has lost in recent days in Gaza and Lebanon.
Palestinian media reported that the Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), downed and captured the device in the East part of Gaza near the city of Khan Yunis on Saturday evening.
The unmanned aerial vehicle is the third aircraft the IDF has lost in recent days.
On Monday, Hamas intercepted and shot down an Israeli drone East of Rafah in Southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Hezbollah, in Lebanon downed an Israeli drone near the Southern border, just days after the group’s leader, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, vowed that Israel will no longer be allowed to violate Lebanon’s airspace with impunity.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that he may start another military operation in the Gaza Strip before September 17, when snap elections are to be held in the occupied territories.
