Turkey’s noxious role in north Africa: Has Egyptian intelligence arrested Turkish spies?

It seems that popular media personality Amr Adeeb has mentioned on his twitter account that the Egyptian intelligence services have arrested two Turkish agents, who have a connection with the recent hostile campaigns, in Egypt. Their role was to collect information regarding the security situation in Egypt for the benefit of Turkish intelligence.

The tweet was carried by other social media users.

The arrests should come at no surprise, as Erdogan’s Turkey has long given succor to the Muslim Brotherhood that has recently been given to attempts to resurface onto Egypt’s political scene through other means.

The other “tentacle” of Turkish efforts against the Egyptian government should be sought in the attacks of Jihadists, especially in the Sinai.

In any event, Ankara is doing its best to unhinge the Sisi government and destabilize Egypt, as it has Libya.
