Turkey sending ISIS anD Al-Qaeda linked jihadists to Libya

An incredible report featured in a well-known website specializing in Middle East issues, which, if confirmed, could lead to a serious wave of reactions that will severely affect Turkey’s alliances and Erdogan personally. According to Middle East Eye sources, Turkey intends to deploy fighters from the Syrian front in Libya to fight against the forces of General Khalifa Haftar!

Ankara is said to have targeted several of the Islamist allied rebel groups in Syria with which it is working to gather willing fighters. Apparently, in order to get someone to go to Libya to fight, either he is offered money, or some “ideological” (see Islamic – jihadist) motive, or a combination …

One of the Islamist groups approached by the Turkish secret services is comprised of Turkish fighters of the “Sultan Murad” Division. The so-called Suqour al-Sham Brigades, a group that is said to have already accepted the Turkish proposal and has already deployed part of its forces to the Turks, have been approached.

Another guerrilla group that maintains close ties with Ankara and appears likely to cooperate, Faylaq al-Sham, is reportedly expected to take the lead due to its members’ prior cooperation with the Tripoli government.

A Syrian source said that “Tripoli-based forces have previously sent weapons and ammunition to help Syrian rebels in 2011. They even sent some military commanders to help them”! “Faylaq al-Sham returned the favor by sending officials to advise Tripoli-based forces in 2014 against Benghazi forces”!

Simply put: Erdogan is preparing to send from Syria to Libya, if it has not already done so, Islamic militant forces, many of whom have links with ISIS (Islamic State) and al-Qaeda, to achieve his goals.

Let’s see how the Russians who are in no mood for games with a potentially explosive issue for the Muslim republics of the Caucasus within the Russian Federation, but also Donald Trump who was lashing out at ISIS that he said was defeated, will respond.
