Bibi: We’ve formed a Mediterranean alliance with massive importance

Shortly after 12.30pm Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu landed at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, in Athens. The Israeli Prime Minister  was greeted at the airport by Greek foreign minister Nikos Dendias.

“We are leaving for a very important meeting with the President of Cyprus and the new Greek Prime Minister. “We’ve formed a Mediterranean alliance with massive importance for Israel’s energy future … and for regional stability.” Benjamin Netanyahu said shortly before leaving from Israel.

At 2pm the foreign minister will also attend a lunch given by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in honor of his Israeli counterpart. At 6.30 pm, the Foreign Minister will also attend the signing ceremony of the East Med Agreement by the energy ministers of the three countries in the presence of the three leaders. Tomorrow morning, Nikos Dendias will meet with the Israeli Prime Minister.
