The Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Ambassador Yuval Rotem held the annual Foreign Policy Dialogue with Greece on Thursday, February 13th in Athens, meeting his Greek counterpart, the Secretary General of the Greek MFA, Ambassador Themistoklis Demiris.
The dialogue focused on regional and global developments as well as the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two countries. Both sides highlighted the improving relationship between Greece and Israel and the potential for further cooperation.
Both countries share the view of the importance of stability and cooperation in the region and beyond, through their cooperation, bilateral and multilateral, that best serves the East Mediterranean region. Both sides exchanged ideas on how to strengthen their cooperation and respond to mutual needs.
The dialogue is a great opportunity to continue our exchanges and it will be followed up in Jerusalem
